HOLI The celebration of colors | Happy and Safe Holi | Holi & Safety of your family and you

Holi

Holi, the celebration of colors, friendship and togetherness. This day is celebrated across the country with love and unity beyond every religion and beyond every disparity. Colors spread all over, spreading happiness. In Indian culture, "HOLI" the celebration of colors signifies the victory of good over evil (bad), many believe Holika, sister of king Hiranyakashipu and evil aunt of Prahlad, was blessed with a boon that, fire can never burn her. Later, Prahlad, the great devotee of Lord Vishnu, was forced to sit on the fire with his evil aunt Holika who intended to kill him, while sitting on the fire he was chanting Lord Vishnu's name. Eventually, the fire burnt "Holika" leaving "Prahlad" unharmed. The whole event is termed as "Holika Dahan" (Holika pyre) where the evil was defeated. While many people celebrate "Holi" as the day of victory, a few others believe that "Holi" is the celebration of love, which took place when Lord Krishna expressed his feelings to his beloved Radha. We should understand our culture, morals, life lessons, ethical teachings, connect us through these stories and festivals and above all celebration is all about families and friends coming together, spending time, and spreading love and brotherhood.
